Jeremy graduated with a B.S. degree in December of 2017. During his time at UO, he worked as an Undergraduate Researcher, developing and debugging VisIt's capabilities for shared memory concurrency on top of a distributed memory platform. His responsibilities included debugging thread safety and researching timings for improvements.
Upon graduation, Jeremy joined Intel as a Driver Developer for the Integrated GFX Card, working on Intel's integrated graphics card optimizing the driver code for games. Jeremy previously was an intern for the same group in the summer of 2017. His UO experience, both as a student in the CIS441 graphics class and as an undergraduate research optimizing VisIt for the Xeon Phi, helped prepare him for the job.
