Bio
Huy Nguyen is a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Oregon, advised by Prof. Jieyang Chen. His research focuses on the systems-level architecture and efficient inference of large language models, with emphasis on sparse attention mechanisms, GPU kernel engineering, and distributed training systems. Prior to UO, he was an AI Resident at VinAI Research and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His work has been published at ACL and EMNLP, and is currently under review at ACL ARR 2026. He is a recipient of the Lokey Award for academic excellence. |
